Specialists in deep foundation drilling, soldier piling, borehole construction, and ground anchoring across India's critical metro corridors and international infrastructure projects.
DSTR Infrastructures and Projects is a New Delhi-based specialist contractor with over 12 years of proven expertise in deep foundation engineering, drilling, and ground improvement works for India's most demanding infrastructure projects.
From the underground tunnels of the Delhi Metro to the high-speed rail corridors of Gujarat and the mining and infrastructure sites of the African continent, our teams operate with precision, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to delivering results in the most challenging ground conditions on earth.
We have been trusted by India's foremost construction companies — Larsen & Toubro, HCC, Afcons, TATA Projects — across multiple metro phases and national corridors, consistently meeting the exacting standards of DMRC and international clients alike.
The story of DSTR Infrastructures and Projects began in 2012 with one man, one crew, and one single DTH piling rig. Founded by Mr. D. Sathi Reddy in New Delhi, the company was built from the ground up — literally — with a belief that discipline, quality workmanship, and technical skill could carve a place in India's highly competitive infrastructure sector.
Those early years were spent proving our worth on the corridors of the Delhi Metro — one of the world's most demanding urban infrastructure programmes. Working initially as a subcontractor to FEMC–Pratibha JV and Larsen & Toubro, we drilled, piled, and bored our way through some of New Delhi's most geologically complex ground, from soft alluvial soils to hard quartzite rock formations, delivering work that exceeded expectations every time.
With each completed project came reinvestment — new rigs, new equipment, new capabilities. By 2015, we were running multiple rigs simultaneously across different Metro packages: CC-17, CC-18, CC-23, CC-27, CC-34, and CC-66. What started as a single machine had become a growing fleet of DTH drilling rigs, truck-mounted drilling units, hydraulic piling rigs, and Reverse Circulation (RC) rigs capable of tackling the full spectrum of deep foundation and drilling requirements.
From 2016 onward, our India operations expanded well beyond Delhi — to Lucknow, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune, Kolkata, and Surat — covering metro rail projects across the country. Simultaneously, since 2013 we have been operating in Africa, making DSTR one of very few Indian drilling contractors to run concurrent operations on two continents for over a decade. We are currently active in Mali, Ivory Coast, South Africa (Cape Town & Durban), Nigeria, and Ghana, with expansion underway into Zambia, Kenya, and Tanzania. The journey from one rig in New Delhi to a global fleet is not just our growth story — it is our identity.
DSTR Infrastructures and Projects has maintained a multi-country presence across the African continent since 2013, deploying our drilling rigs and piling equipment to support mining, water infrastructure, and civil construction projects.
Our African operations reflect the same standards of technical excellence, safety compliance, and project delivery discipline that earned us our reputation on India's toughest metro projects. We bring DMRC-grade precision to African ground conditions — adapting our methods to local geology, regulations, and project requirements.
We are actively pursuing further growth across the continent, with new country entries in Zambia, Kenya, and Tanzania currently in progress.
At DSTR Infrastructures and Projects, safety is embedded into every aspect of our operations — from pre-mobilization planning to final demobilization. We operate under the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) frameworks mandated by DMRC, L&T, Afcons, and our international project clients, and we treat these frameworks not as compliance obligations but as the foundation of how we work.
Every piece of equipment deployed by DSTR undergoes third-party inspection and fitness certification before entering any project site. All drivers and machine operators hold valid statutory licences as required under applicable labour and safety regulations. Workers are provided with full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) — including safety helmets, safety shoes, high-visibility vests, hand gloves, dust masks, hearing protection, and fall-arrest equipment where required.
We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy on site safety violations, non-use of PPE, and non-compliance with environmental protection requirements. Our site supervisors attend all safety meetings convened by the principal contractor's safety engineer and are empowered to stop work if unsafe conditions are identified.
